Guamal is a municipality in Colombia, located in the department of Meta, in the center-east of the country. It limits to the north with the municipality of Acacías, to the east with the municipality of Castilla La Nueva, to the south with the municipalities of San Martín and Cubarral and to the west with the Páramo de Sumapaz, having the municipality there its maximum height in the Nevado del Sumapaz with 4306 masl.
